Developer Advocate

We're seeking a passionate Developer Advocate to drive the growth of our community and help us reach 50,000 weekly active users. In this role, you will:

• Engage with our community via Zed itself, GitHub, social media, and events
• Help us understand our funnel, improve our retention rate, and identify opportunities for growth
• Create compelling technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, documentation, and videos
• Collaborate with developer relations teams from partner organizations
• Engage with contributors to help us run an effective open source project
• Provide insights to shape our product roadmap and strategy

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a track record of building thriving developer communities. As the first developer advocate at Zed, you'll have the opportunity to shape your own role and operate autonomously at the frontier of open-source software development on a small team that cares deeply about craftsmanship.
